ABOUT JENNIFER GOMEZ
High-achieving leaders carry a lot.Pressure. Decisions. Expectations.Over time, that pressure narrows thinking, drains energy, and slowly erodes the joy that once fueled their work.I help leaders reverse that pattern. As the founder of The Joyful Strategist, I work with founders, executives, and leadership teams to strengthen clarity, decision-making confidence, and strategic presence in high-pressure environments.Because joy is not soft. It’s career has been shaped by a unique mix of performance, leadership, and business. She began as a stage performer, where she learned early how energy, presence, and emotional intelligence can move a room. She later transitioned into leadership roles in government, serving as Executive Director of operations for the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion, where she oversaw high-level initiatives and worked alongside state leaders in fast-paced and high-visibility environments. After earning her MBA from Louisiana State University, Jen expanded into business and sales leadership, building and coaching a high-performing network marketing organization that reached the top 2% of the company and earned the opportunity to advocate for the clean beauty movement with legislators in Washington, DC. In 2023, she founded Jen Gomez LLC, originally focused on leadership retreats and coaching for women. Within two years, the demand for her coaching style and sales strategy led to the evolution of her brand into The Joyful Strategist, where she now works with leaders and organizations as a performance partner. Jen’s work centers on a simple but often overlooked idea: Joy is not soft. It’s strategic. Leaders who operate from vitality think more clearly, influence more effectively, and create cultures where innovation and performance can thrive. Today, Jen works with executives and teams through keynote speaking, leadership retreats, and high-touch coaching designed to strengthen clarity, resilience, and leadership capacity. At the center of Jen’s life are her husband Mark, her sons Oliver and Ben, and her belief that leadership, and life, should be lived with both courage and joy.
