I hold a different set of responsibilities at Capgemini:\\\\n- At the customer assignment is to lead platform engineering teams for key projects within the UK Government, including owning the technical architecture for solutions, managing the workload for an engineering team, and defining a progressive strategy to keep us ahead of customer requirements. The technology I work with typically includes public clouds, air-gapped environments, containers, CI tools, and infrastructure automation tools.\\\\n\\\\n- As a leadership role within our business unit, which sees me working on a variety of core strategy areas at any given time and acting as an escalation point for any situations which need urgent action. I\'m direct line manager for a number of staff, as well as mentoring and supporting a team of around 10 senior engineers who also act as line managers, and are collectively responsible for the personal development and career progression of up to 40 engineers.\\\\nI also co-host a DevOps meet-up event to contribute with the community, increasing the exposure of our engineers to the industry, bringing well-known speakers to our local meetup.\\\\n\\\\n- As Lead technical advisor, I contribute to growing the business, by participating in Bids and business discussions, helping to provide solutions to our clients ahead of our competitors.\\\\n\\\\nTech Stack:\\\\nAWS - Docker - Kubernetes - Jenkins - GitLab - Terraform - Vault - Linux - Nginx - Ansible - Drone - Artifactory - Baremetal configuration\\\\n\\\\n
