About Joseph Wilkins

I am a Systems Engineer with Epic Hosting on the Server Systems team. In this role, I am a database administrator for our customers\' operational databases that store all the data in their Epic instance. I perform maintenance, respond to incidents, and have a number of areas of ownership to improve our service and ensure we are compliant with our standards. I grew up on a farm breeding and finishing grass-fed beef cattle. Growing up in agriculture has taught me many things and instilled a strong work ethic. I had to develop skills in teamwork, working under pressure, and attention to detail.As a resident assistant, I had the opportunity to improve my time management, conflict resolution, and communication skills. As a student organization leader, I improved my self-initiative, different types of communication skills, and my overall professionalism.
