Senior UX Designer for Activities (Things to do) leading the optimization of the Activities customer shopping funnel to provide a seamless discovery and shopping experience for over unique activity products. As UX lead, oversaw sweeping recommendations to Activities IA, UI and interaction design resulting +145% engagement of optimized tool sets,+2.8% funnel progression, and bounce rate reduction in both desktop and mobile platforms. Presently my responsibilities include creating, delivering or performing- process, task, and screen flows - information architecture diagrams - site maps - limited prototypes - detailed wireframes and comps - content recommendations - competitive/comparative audits and summaries - UATs and Experience Reviews - design reviews and critiques Additionally: • Ensure designs and experience adhere to Expedia Brand universal design system (UDS) as well as maintain experience integrity for portfolio brands: Travelocity, Orbitz, Trivago, Hotels.com • Partner with User Research for design best practices, to create user tests and review outcomes; Review previous research for insights and efficiency • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to determine project scope requirements and implementation timelines, provide ongoing support during development • Communicate Activity shopping-specific requirements for global elements and components to the Shopping Templates team; provide examples and/or scenarios • Consult with Accessibility team to ensure experience meets WCAG requirements; provide Accessibility-based wireframes to engineering • Explore and provide strategy and design concepts that further innovate the online travel shopping to UX and Activities leadership, such as video and motion • Mentor junior UX designers and/or those interested in a career in UX
