About Jf Lancelot
JF Lancelot is an IT strategist with more than thirty years of experience in the Health Care Information Technology field. With an educational background in Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence, psychology, and computer science, JF has solved numerous technical problems such as implementing real-time clinical databases, distributed data acquisition networks, and has led teams of more than 20 engineers through implementing a highly scalable, high performance clinical information system in use today at large hospitals throughout the US and Europe. Today, JF has three main area of interest: healthcare-oriented system architectures, clinical workflow enhancement through automation, and hard core IT issues such as reliability, fault tolerance, security, performance and scalability. With the advent of Web Services technology and emerging healthcare standards, JF is working towards helping achieve the holy grails of healthcare automation: optimized quality and outcomes, better clinical workflow, and improved patient safety.
