I lead a growing ML team building AI systems that solve real business problems - from computer vision models that identify defects with 95%+ F1 to automating enterprise workflows with intelligent agents and custom RAG applications.After seeing too many ML projects fail to reach production, I became focused on bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical implementation. My mechanical engineering background from UCLA taught me to approach AI as an engineering discipline: robust, scalable, and measurable.Today, I guide my team in architecting end-to-end ML solutions using PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, and modern MLOps practices. Recent wins include deploying anomaly detection systems using advanced techniques like PatchCore and building Python-based AI agents that automate everything from cybersecurity monitoring to HR operations. Currently leading our enterprise RAG implementation (Hugging Face, LangChain, Vector DBs) with user authentication, custom tools, and guardrails—while mentoring junior engineers and scaling the team.What excites me most: developing both cutting-edge AI solutions and the talented engineers who build them. From latent space manipulation to production agent deployment on cloud infrastructure, I\'m passionate about pushing technical boundaries while fostering a culture of practical innovation.Outside of work: Photography is my main obsession, both digital and film (turns out computer vision engineers really like cameras). Recently got scuba certified, still perfecting my espresso technique and latte art, and I love cooking for family and friends.Excited to connect with AI/ML leaders and builders working on practical AI applications.
