As Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan, I oversee the Senator’s energy, natural resources, and public lands portfolio. I provide strategic advice on legislation and federal policy initiatives aimed at advancing Alaska’s resource development priorities, including the Alaska LNG project, responsible oil and gas development on federal lands, mineral production, and sustainable timber harvest.I engage directly with federal agencies, industry stakeholders, and state leaders to advocate for Alaska\'s interests in energy security and resource development. This includes interagency coordination with the Department of the Interior, Department of Energy, U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, and federal programs within the Department of Agriculture and Department of Defense to promote energy and critical mineral development. I also work to ensure continued public access to public lands and the responsible stewardship and development of those lands.My work includes drafting policy memos, preparing briefing materials, developing oversight strategies, reviewing and advising on legislation, and supporting committee hearing preparation. I also assist in the development and implementation of external messaging strategies to highlight Alaska’s strategic resource role and the importance of permitting reform.I coordinate with the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, the Alaska Congressional Delegation, and the Governor’s Office to align federal and state efforts on high-impact infrastructure, public land use, and permitting issues.
