ABOUT JEWEL BURKS SOLOMON

As Managing Partner at Collab Capital, I lead the firm\'s mission to invest in the building blocks of shared prosperity. My work at Collab is informed by my 15 year career in tech and innovation where I\'ve worn every possible hat. I\'ve been a founder - successfully exiting my first startup, Partpic to Amazon in 2016, an angel investor, a corporate leader - creating Google for Startups\' Founders Fund model, and an LP in a handful of funds. I have a vast and varied experience that informs my work today. I have been instrumental in sourcing, evaluating, and closing deals with innovative startups in various sectors, such as fintech, economic mobility, health, and infrastructure. In addition to my role at Collab Capital, I serve as an Independent Board Director at CallRail, a leading platform for call tracking and conversational AI, and as a Board Member at the Center for American Entrepreneurship, a nonpartisan research and advocacy organization that promotes entrepreneurship as a force for economic growth and social progress. I am also the co-owner of several small businesses including 310 Studios - a mixed use space for creatives in the heart of Castleberry Hill, as well as a host of family owned small businesses. I am passionate about fostering a more inclusive and diverse ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the teams and organizations I work with.
