Reading Mencap supports the needs of those children and adults with a learning disability, as well as their families and carers. My role as a trustee is to oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. As trustees, we also ensure that there is a clear business strategy and that the work and goals are in line with our vision. In my case this includes supporting the team at Reading Mencap in delivering a clear marketing strategy and plan to drive greater awareness of the services we can provide to the community.
