About Jetlin

I am a passionate Microbiologist with a Masters degree in Microbiology from Amrita School of Biotechnology.I did my BSc project on Mass Spectrometry Based Quantitative Proteomics To Analyse Changes In Cytosolic Proteins Of A Salt Tolerant Endophytic Fungus. The project helped me to know more about the analytical techniques such as mass spectrometry, high-performance liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, nucleic acid sequencing, polymerase chain reaction, and immunological techniques.My post graduation project was based on \" Microbial Biotransformation and metabolite synthesis of drug using seaweed associated bacteria\".My research has focused on leveraging these marine microbes to develop innovative approaches for drug development, offering a sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional chemical synthesis. This work has involved isolating and characterizing bacteria from various seaweed species, optimizing conditions for biotransformation, and analyzing the resulting metabolites for potential pharmaceutical applications.
