About Jethaniel Nixon

Jethaniel Nixon was born in Philadelphia, Pa and raised up in a musically gifted family from whence he had discovered his talent as a musician. Jethaniel, a.k.a. Thanny, had a sense of rhythm at the tender age of 6 years old. He played a variety of instruments such as drums, piano, woodwinds, brass, and any other instrument he could get his hands on. Well, Thanny played everything and at the age of 12, he decided to play the bass guitar. It became his main instrument. During Jethaniel\'s high school years, he chose select musicians to play in his own jazz band - Jethaniel played piano. His jazz band made appearances at most of the events in the Philadelphia school district. Thanny has a wide variety of talent. Giving bass lessons and mentoring to young musicians - it’s all-apart of his dream. Not soon after Thanny had graduated in 1990, He was referred to the well renowned Prince of Gospel - John P.Kee. Two years later, Jethaniel moved on and recorded an album with classical Gospel artist Richard Smallwood. Jethaniel performed on TV shows like Jay Leno, Carson Daily, Conan O’Brien, Orlando Jones, and the Mike Bullard show in Canada, jules Holland in the UK. He toured with artists Musiq Soulchild, Le Nubians from Paris France, Kenny Latimore Stephanie Mills, Tyrese, and performed on London\'s TV shows and venues as well. Recently Did Tours to Istanbul, Turkey, Italy, Hathe list goes on. Jethaniel utilizes copious amounts of time building and studying the art of engineering. Finally, he began working on his own project. Through writing and production of the album, with the help of some talented musicians and family, Jethaniel\'s project took on the most challenging paths through his continued journey toward musical success.
