OCSD J-117A Interplant Effluent Pipeline Rehabilitation -$12.6 Million Responsibilities include preparing and negotiating contracts with vendors/subcontractors, submitting progress payments to OCSD using P6 scheduling software, procurement of material/equipment to maximize labor production and ensure a safe working environment, track and submit change orders, scheduling/work sequencing, submittals, work packages, labor distribution reports to accurately forecast timeline and job costs, and written notifications such as Requests for Information (RFI’s), Requests for Change (RFC’s), notifications of delay, etc. Project scope consists of providing long-term rehabilitation repairs of the existing 84” and 120” interplant pipelines (IPPs) from Plant No. 1 Effluent Junction Box (EJB) to the Ocean Outfall Booster Station (OOBS) at Plant No. 2; repairing defects at the OOBS Joint Facilities; replacing FOC from Plant No. 1 to Plant No. 2, and constructing approximately linear feet of new electrical duct bank along with re-routing and installing new medium voltage and signal cable for the district’s medium voltage feed from SoCal Edison’s Electric Service Center to OCSD’s Central Generation Facility.
