About Jessy Fowler

I am a nuclear training leader with over 17 years of experience in the nuclear industry, most recently specializing in developing and leading innovative operator training programs. Since 2023, I have been the Program Lead for Xe-100 Control Room Operator Training at X-Energy. I set strategic direction for the initial and continuing Control Room Operator and Shift Supervisor training programs and lead a team of training specialists in the analysis and from-scratch creation of a training program for our first-of-a-kind reactor design. I am a co-author of the TMX procedure series, our proprietary student-centered systematic approach methodology built on modern adult learning science that truly breaks the frames of modern nuclear training. My journey began in the U.S. Navy, where I excelled as a nuclear reactor operator and maintenance technician aboard the USS Pasadena. I was promoted to supervisory roles, where I managed operating schedules, maintenance planning and execution, resource allocation, and professional development. I also served for as an instructor and supervisor at the U.S. Navy\'s Nuclear Power Training Unit, where I discovered my passion for training. My experience in the Navy instilled a rigorous approach to safety and deep commitments to technical proficiency and integrity, and taught me the skills needed to be an effective leader. In commercial nuclear operations, I took on key roles at Constellation\'s Quad Cities Station. There, I supervised both Licensed and Non-Licensed Operator Training Programs, earning recognition for excellence in all areas. I led innovative projects, such as a VR training solution for tagouts and redesigned training programs to improve trainee engagement and outcomes, contributing to industry best practices.Let\'s connect to explore how we can drive excellence in nuclear training and operations together!
