Developed and submitted more than 450 competitive grant proposals since raising $65 million and achieving a 70% success rate. • Since promotion to Director in 2018, led the Grant Center to submit 63 successful proposals securing $18.4 million for clients and winning 100% of the following grants written: school-based mental health (16/16), charter school (7/7), USDA Farm to School (5/5), COPS School Violence Prevention (3/3), and BJA STOP School Violence (3/3).• Guided teams to win two of sixteen 2016 Carol M. White PEP grants awarded nationwide (from an applicant pool of 350+), bringing more than $2.7 million to two school districts in the same congressional district - the only grantees in Wisconsin.• Wrote two successful Elementary School Counseling grants for the same mid-sized school district; in 2014, this was the only Counseling grant awarded in the State of Wisconsin.• Collected and analyzed need data for each client; researched and recommended appropriate funding opportunities and worked with clients to prioritize projects according to schedules, capacity, and interests.• Interpreted and communicated grant guidance to clients. Synthesized client needs and ideas within grant parameters, suggesting evidence-based practices to increase proposal competitiveness.• Consulted with more than 55 rural, suburban, and urban school districts in Wisconsin, Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, and West Virginia.
