ABOUT JESSIKA DARKSTAR

Jessika Darkstar | Business Masters Student | U.S. Army Veteran | Founder & Creative DirectorI’m a creative producer, entrepreneur, and U.S. Army veteran building a transmedia entertainment ecosystem rooted in cyberpunk aesthetics, urban fantasy storytelling, horror energy, and underground music culture.In 2014, I founded Dark Star Radio, a global platform dedicated to amplifying underground artists and alternative voices. That work evolved into The Gambol Show, a virtual production initiative inside Second Life where I experiment with immersive entertainment formats including machinima, performance-driven storytelling, and experimental broadcast concepts. These projects serve as a creative laboratory for my long-term studio vision: Belligerent Curse Studios, a future VFX, animation and game studio focused on building gritty, mythic, genre-driven worlds with teams of visionary artists and veterans. I also develop production frameworks such as the Darkstar Caster System, a live broadcast model designed for immersive virtual environments. My work centers on creative direction and systems design: identifying production challenges, shaping the vision behind projects, and collaborating with technical teams to bring new tools, workflows, and pipelines to life. As Production Manager on The Duelist (formerly The World of Steam), I led VFX and 3D animation teams to help complete a film that had remained unfinished for more than 15 years, delivering final materials for submission to the HBO Short Film Festival. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University, expanding my business and leadership foundation as I scale Darkstar Multimedia across film, animation, VFX, immersive media, and games.
