   Humana Excellence and Leadership Award Recipient -Trained all new hire physician medical directors for Humana Senior Products in topics such as Humana culture, ethics, compliance, technology, Medicare 101, & the process of case review for front end hospital stays, retrospective hospital stays, post-acute admissions/continued stay reviews, waivers, pre-authorizations, & peer to peer calls -Responsible for organizing, teaching, & facilitating Case Concordance Conference biweekly for approximately 200 physicians across Humana -Leading & coordinating the team of nurses & physicians who will educate the Humana UM clinical employee population on the 26th to 27th MCG edition updates & changes -Revolutionizing & updating the Medicare Part A onboarding curriculum & crafting new content to keep audit findings in check. In addition, last year, after leading the re-education initiative for several underperforming regions, Humana Managed Care closed out 2022 with an overall audit pass rate of 99.66% & final rational audit success at 96.83%-Co-authored Inter-Rater Reliability test. By partnering with the audit team, training team, & market leadership, the team was able to raise IRR pass rate average to 96% from 85%-Participated in a cross regional pilot to optimize utilization of subject matter experts via deployment of a technology platform that enables medical directors to communicate with SME more efficiently & keeps an active library for future reference across the enterprise -Dedicated physician member of the Medicare Audit Team & Template Core Team helping to bring concordance & consistency to determinations across all markets -Spotlighted individual NRGs during biweekly Case Concordance Conferences to promote inclusion & diversity -Created culture change in Case Concordance Conference, cultivating a welcoming space for curiosity & contribution of all medical directors -Currently completing the Humana/University of Houston Value Based Care Coursera Course
