I\'m a Senior Communications Associate on the Channels & Operations Media Team at Capital One. I am also a member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia. During the 20••••23 League year, I served as the organization\'s Events Planning Lead, where I planned 4 General Membership Meetings (60-80 attendees per meeting) and assisted with planning our annual Celebration of Service. I have also been a member of the Washington Metropolitan Gamer Symphony Orchestra (WMGSO) since 2013. I served as the organization\'s Development Director from November 2015 until February 2018. I was in charge of seeking grant opportunities, writing and submitting regional and federal grant applications, planning and executing fundraisers for the organization, and leading a Development Team of 5 volunteers as well as collaborating with WMGSO\'s PR Manager and Assistant PR Manager to plan and execute outreach strategies. In 2013, I earned an M.A. in Public Communication from American University. My Capstone project, titled \"This Place Matters: How Save Woodlawn Stables Leveraged Social Media to Accomplish its Goals,\" focused on the convergence of social media and grassroots advocacy groups. I am also the co-author of \"Mount Vernon Revisited,\" a book focusing on the 340-year history of the Mount Vernon, VA community.

Interviews and collaborates with Retail Bank stakeholders to gather information for newsletter articles. Works with the Bank Ops and Branch and Café Knowledge Management teams to update database articles based on associate feedback.
