More than twenty years’ experience in the water industry in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Australia in project management, design and construction of water supply systems and sewer networks with related tunnel works • Experience in Canada (Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver) involved project management of large water pipeline projects with significant tunnelling (up to 4m in diameter) and temporary works (up to 20m deep shafts) and design management of large sewer infrastructure for flood alleviation projects (sewers up to 4m in diameter) • Experience in UK (London) involved design management (Design Lead) for the foul drainage system for Heathrow Terminal 5, design management for AMP4 major flood alleviation projects (up to 2.5m diameter tunnels, up to 20m deep shafts) and design management for eight2O (AMP6) project at Beckton STW (2.95m diameter tunnel 800m long, up to 30m deep shafts) • Experience in UAE (Abu Dhabi) as a Tunnel/Civil Engineer for major 40km long sewer tunnel up to 5m in diameter • Experience in Australia (Perth) involved design and planning of sewer systems and project management of mining and water projects • Detailed design experience in wastewater infrastructure, including large gravity sewer and force mains, submersible lift stations, retention tanks, tunnels, and overflow structures • Detailed design experience with deep shafts and trenchless tunnel methods • Detailed design experience with large diameter water mains and water distribution systems • Detailed investigation, assessment, programming, and reporting for infrastructure asset renewal and development • Experience as a resident site engineer for several projects (UK, Canada), including as sole site representative in an isolated location (Esperance, Western Australia) •Conceptual planning of wastewater networks to service new commercial and industrial developments and areas of future growth
