Lead the investment accounting function for quarterly and annual statutory filings, including preparation of investment-related financial statements, NAIC investment schedules, and footnote disclosures; act as the Subject Matter Expert for investment accounting within the team.•Maintain comprehensive monthly reconciliations between source systems and the general ledger across life, reinsurance, and casualty entities, in compliance with both GAAP and Statutory accounting standards. Led the implementation of control enhancements, process documentation, and creation of audit evidence supporting new guidance (e.g, SSAP No. 26R, SSAP No. 43R).•Partner with actuarial teams to provide data and analysis supporting quarterly capital calculations, investment performance reviews, and other statutory reporting deliverables.•Prepare and present quarterly Asset Valuation Reserve (AVR) and Interest Maintenance Reserve (IMR) calculations and trend analyses to senior leadership, including the VP and CAO, highlighting key drivers and financial impacts.
