About Jessie Arnell
As a Legal Fellow at the Institute for Policy Integrity at NYU School of Law, I advocate for data-driven, effective economic and legal analysis to support environmental protection, public health, and consumer rights. I coauthored a Supreme Court brief and appellate amicus briefs, and supervise law students in NYU Law’s Regulatory Policy Clinic. Previously, I worked as a Law Clerk at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, where I reviewed proposed federal regulations with environmental impacts and ensured federal agencies’ compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act. I also have experience in the Georgetown Environmental Law and Justice Clinic, where I developed an environmental justice action plan with under-resourced local communities. I hold a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology from Carleton College. I am passionate about using my skills in policy analysis, climate science, and environmental law to combat climate change and protect public health.
