About Jessica Zyglis

Curious by nature, a writer by trade. I believe the voice of the customer is always right, that great results come from asking ‘why?’, and that the best experiences (and concepts) come from pushing outside your comfort zones. I’ve been writing with the consumer in mind for more than 15 years, crafting messaging along every touchpoint. My background spans UX, content design, brand marketing, packaging, digital, B2C and B2B work, across a variety of industries, from education and toys to health and wellness. Along this wildly inspiring ride, I formed a passion for conceptualizing and creating innovative products (side projects I started as the Lead Copywriter at Fisher-Price). My product idea for the Fisher-Price Lumalou Better Bedtime Routine System went to market and was voted as one of JPMA’s Most Innovative Baby and Children\'s Products of 2020. The following year, I developed an activity center that channels all the ‘Boss Baby’ vibes, which hit the market in 2022. My role involved product naming for baby, newborn, and infant products, which gave me the advantage of running a preliminary legal search for ‘Like a Boss Activity Center.’ Spoiler alert: It was cleared! I value collaboration, big-picture thinking, enthusiasm, and vulnerability. And I thrive in cross-functional roles, working with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and outcomes—let’s go! When I’m not climbing mountains (or snacking), you can find me wrapped up in design thinking, creative writing, problem solving, storytelling, creating personas on LLMs, or conceptualizing what’s next. MS in Communication & Leadership; BA in Communication Studies, Public Relations & Advertising with a Marketing Certificate from Canisius College.
