I ended my career as an FBI supervisor in 2020 after countering bioterror and domestic terrorism during the onset of COVID-19. I took my decade+ expertise in emerging technology to explore the private sector and found that marketing and communication were in the correct quadrant in my passion-confidence matrix. Those were the jobs that fed my soul and kept my energy sustainable.(And seemed to be exactly what I\'ve already been doing in my career, just a little - a lot - more public.)I\'ve since stood up marketing channels and strategies; built websites; delivered product demo, brand, and short videos; built multiple ad campaigns; and at least once set up an email marketing list that scored a premium subscriber on day one of go-to-market (GTM). I love the tech industry and am passionate about SaaS products that lead with privacy and intentionality, even if they are not privacy platforms. I\'m also interested in keeping my portfolio diverse, so I\'ve elevated the brands of companies in industries like health and wellness, arts, and law who are already doing good in the world.I gained a little traction over a post I made about the value proposition for The Storygraph and how I love that its primary position is helping book lovers decouple from Amazon. After a decade working for the government and keeping my opinions to myself I\'m in an era of putting my beliefs on display and living my life according to them.THAT SAID, Jeff Bezos, if you\'re reading this and you\'re also getting a little sick of yourself, hire me (I\'m not cheap).
