About Jessica Speigel
I’ve designed interactive experiences from Encarta to HBO Max, Fanatics, and beyond. Over the years, I’ve led design for global consumer products, built high-performing teams from scratch, and delivered experiences that are not only highly functional, but memorable.To me, great design isn’t all about flashy visuals — it’s about creating something unexpectedly useful. A new lens on a complex problem. A moment of joy in a task that used to feel painful.Most recently, I was VP of Experience Design at Fanatics Betting & Gaming, where I built and scaled a full-stack experience design team, led end-to-end product design for Sportsbook and Casino, and helped move our mobile app to the top 3 in the industry. Previously, I was Director of Product Design at HBO Max, where I led Platform Experience and founded the Data-Driven Experiences team — defining and growing the personalization practice across the service. Earlier, I cut my teeth in roles at Microsoft and Amazon, and agency-side at POSSIBLE.What drives me today is building strong, strategic, performant design teams — teams that bring craft and clarity to the most important problems the business is facing, and deliver meaningful experiences for the customers they serve. Equally as important, I want to support each designer in doing the best work of their career in our time together.
