ABOUT JESS RUPRECHT
My passion is helping others access and grow their potential, through effective learning and development solutions. I have experience developing and delivering engaging learning and development, leadership development, consulting around learning solutions, and building technical learning opportunities for employees and students. I offer a diverse background in adult learning, with experience within higher education, tech industry, and government sectors. I have proven success working as a program manager within adult education, staff development, and technical learning spaces, in addition to skills in stakeholder management, impact assessment, and project management. I love being able to use both my program management skills and my educational background in Adult Learning (M.Ed) in new and creative ways to build high-quality learning solutions. I am a strong relationship builder, and my work in higher education has allowed me to create outside-of-the-box learning and development programs that are meaningful, fun, useful, and learner-centred. My transition to working in technical learning program management has levelled up my ability to navigate technical stakeholder work, scope technical learning solutions, and align both employee and business needs to build bespoke solutions. My specialties include building and reporting on program success through assessment that captures stories + impact, a strong focus on anti-oppression and social justice, creative ideas for engaging learners in non-traditional ways, building intentional learning outcomes, developing online learning resources, and creating a holistic curriculum focused on learner needs. When I\'m not working on learning and development programs, you can find me making art, hanging out with my cat, going on day trip adventures, or doing some late night baking. Specialities: program management, learning and development, educational development, curriculum building, learning outcome creation, instructional design, online learning course development, engagement strategies, technical training programs, building ongoing tools and resources for learning. Academic: Adult learning theory, theories of motivation, social justice education, learning theories (ex. Bloom, Kolb), instructional design (ex. ADDIE).
