Chosen as the firm’s first Director of Learning & Development, with responsibility for assessing and identifying the firm’s learning and development needs and then effectively implementing high-impact, sustainable learning and development programs, including onboarding, orientation, sphere/team development, and managerial, leadership, and firmwide training. Actively search for, creatively design, and successfully implement effective methods for enhancing employee learning. In first 6 months in role: conceived of and hosted a 2-week virtual learning conference, launched a Buddy Program, started a resource-providing monthly newsletter, launched a searchable SME database, hosted several learning sessions to support technical advancement, created new onboarding and training resources, and more. In the time since, I have sustained those programs and further grown the L&D department\'s offerings, including: a professionally edited video library of in-house trainings, oversight of an LMS, ambitious annual learning events, bimonthly live learning sessions, a contemporary mentorship program, managerial training support, thought leadership, and more.
