With a strong background in the Real Estate and Mortgage industry, I bring a unique perspective to the tech field, focusing on creating accessible solutions for diverse communities. During my time at General Assembly, I worked on exciting projects. At MySkin Boutique, I utilized the MERN stack to develop a secure application that handled user data and provided a seamless user experience. I created one-to-many relationships between models and designed and deployed full-stack web applications using Node, Express, Git Collaboration, and React components. In the Board Game Meeting project, I collaborated with a team to build an application for cataloging board games. Leveraging Git Collaboration and React components, we ensured a smooth website flow. I gained experience in managing non-relational data using Mongoose and MongoDB. Another noteworthy project was My Skin Builder, where I built a full-stack application using the MEN stack. I implemented complete CRUD operations, created one-to-many relationships between models, and utilized Sessions for secure user authentication. In the Mancala project, I combined JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills to create an engaging game application. Implementing modern technologies like ES6 template literals and CSS3 styling, I provided an immersive user experience. Beyond my technical expertise, I possess strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities. Thriving in team environments, I am adaptable and have leadership skills that guide teams toward common goals. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures. Cooking is a significant hobby of mine, allowing me to be creative and experiment with flavors and techniques, especially when my family joins in.
