WORK HISTORY
Human Subjects Research Coordinator @University of Rochester Medicine
Rochester, NY, US
School of Medicine and DentistryDepartment of PsychiatryPrimary Investigator: Wendi F. Cross, Ph.D.Coordinate the activities associated with a 3-yr federally funded randomized control human subject research study (that has myriad moving parts!). The aim is to test the impact of simulation (using standardized patients) on suicide prevention skills among providers-in-training (residents and nursing trainees). Duties include those related to human subject’s research such as IRB and recruitment but also training and scheduling standardized patients, assisting the PI in running the study team, and coordinating with other personnel such as investigators, a data manager, research assistants and data statistics personnel. Recently I have acquired proficiency skills for the online project software REDCap™, where I have developed and maintained all virtual project instruments, the research project dashboard, subjects and standardized patient scheduling calendar, and a record status dashboard for tracking subjects throughout the study.
