I recently completed the Clinical Research Fastrack program which provided 228 hours of intense coursework and training covering all aspects of protecting the rights, safety, and well-being of patients and collecting clean, credible data according to ALCOA-C principles. Other key topics included:• ICH GCP E6 R2 • FDA Regulations 21 CFR Parts 11, 50, 54, 56 • Data Management • Informed Consent Process • Clinical Trial Operations from feasibility through close-out • Identification and reporting of AEs and SAEs • Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Query Resolution • Comprehension and Execution of Clinical Trial Protocols • Maintaining regulatory binder, housing essential documents including but not limited to 1572, DOA, Training Logs and other Investigator Site File (ISF) documentsI received my education at University College London where I earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. My research focused on the effect of ionotropic receptors on the circadian rhythm in Drosophila. My education gave me the ability to learn about cutting edge research in some of the most current areas of science such as stem cells, molecular cell signaling, and developmental biology. UCL’s research provided the means to learn how the scientific method is carried out and to learn from the top researchers in the field. I earned my undergraduate degree in biology at Centenary College of Louisiana where I learned not only about living organisms but also how to organize my time effectively. I was also a competitive NCAA gymnast where I learned commitment, team work, discipline, and perseverance. Outside of academics and the workplace, I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and biking. I also enjoy puzzles and will always have a joy for gymnastics.
