   I am an HR professional supporting the ILR School across its Ithaca, Buffalo, and NYC campuses, where I manage a broad portfolio of human resources functions that keep our operations running smoothly and ensure an exceptional employee experience.In my role, I oversee a full range of HR transactions in Workday and support end-to-end recruitment for staff, temporary, and postdoctoral positions, with additional involvement in academic and student hiring. I lead the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring every employee transition is seamless, positive, and well-coordinated.I also serve as ILR\'s primary contact for leave of absence administration and act as a trusted resource for HR policy interpretation, partnering closely with university experts to maintain consistency, compliance, and best practices across all HR activities.A portion of my work includes managing payroll operations. I oversee Workday Time Tracking for non-exempt staff and student employees, ensuring accurate time reporting, FLSA compliance, and the timely resolution of payroll issues. I regularly advise supervisors and employees on payroll matters, helping troubleshoot concerns quickly and effectively.Beyond these core functions, I maintain detailed employment records, manage personnel files, and oversee HR-managed email listservs. I also support employee relations initiatives and special events. In every part of my role, I handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, sound judgment, and the highest level of discretion.
