About Jessica Lapurga
Hi there, my name is Jessica and I am a first-generation, Pilipinx, graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor\'s in Social Welfare and Public Policy. I am passionate about advocacy and centering the experiences of underserved populations, which is reflected in my work as a Real Exposure & Advocacy in Community Health (REACH) intern at Asian Health Services in Oakland, a Program Coordinator for bridges Multicultural Resource Center with PASS, and a Youth Equity Discovery Initiative scholar with the UC Berkely School of Public Health. In all my efforts, I seek to advance equity by uplifting historically underrepresented communities and pursuing positive change. My previous experiences in public health research, program planning, and organizational strategy have equipped me with the skills to embark on my professional journey.
