ABOUT JESSICA VENTURA
Since spring of 2009, I have been working for the New York Yankees and their Single-A affiliate, the Tampa Tarpons (formerly Tampa Yankees). My experiences have varied throughout the years as I have worked in just about every aspect of the front office including community relations, marketing/promotions, ticketing, digital/social media, staff management and partnerships. I have a strong work ethic, am extremely organized, energetic, communicate well with others and can manage my time in a fast-paced environment. I take pride in my work and in the organization I work for. I enjoy every aspect of community relations and event planning. With the Yankees, I have planned and executed several charitable events at home games, and developed a Street Team to increase our exposure in the community. I was also part of a team that developed a program for our minor league players to do more community service during the season. In 2018, the organization completed 970 hours of community service with 620 hours of those hours in the Tampa community. In the off-season, I oversee and handle all of the administrative work for the George M. Steinbrenner Fall Classic, which is a wood bat tournament for local high school teams. I work closely with the coaches and parents to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable weekend of baseball at a high class facility.
