About Jessica Joseph
From the time I was a kid, I loved working with numbers. That curiosity led me to pursue an associate’s degree in Environmental Science and Math through dual enrollment before even graduating high school, where I found both the challenge and excitement of applying quantitative thinking to real problems.This led me to Stevens Institute of Technology, which had a unique interdisciplinary structure - one that allows me to specialize in Computer Science and Quantitative Finance simultaneously, with the Business & Technology program. This combination gives me the best of both worlds: the statistical and mathematical rigor of quantitative finance paired with the computational and problem-solving depth of computer science.I deeply enjoy creating and debugging large-scale data pipelines to generate actionable insights as well as building scalable systems that directly shape real-world outcomes. In particular, I’m drawn to industries like retail, where technical rigor, statistical analysis, and code come together to drive real-world impact at scale! This passion for connecting numbers, technology, and people is what I bring to every project, and what drives me towards a long-term career in data science.
