About Jess H.
I\'m a strategic and creative diversity, equity and social impact leader. I drive systemic change by bringing people together to solve real world problems across big tech, media companies, startups and nonprofits. I started my career as a lawyer in Australia, working across employment, environmental, human rights and refugee law. With 12+ years experience, I was most recently a senior leader at Snap responsible for a number of DEI firsts including building Snap\'s DEI data reporting infrastructure, driving leadership accountability by embedding DEI into Snap\'s Strategic Plan and leading Snap\'s product and content inclusion strategy affecting Snap’s 300M daily users. I\'m committed to changing the lens on inclusion in tech at a systemic level and was the project leader and co-author of the Action to Catalyze Tech Report (ACT Report) that brought 30+ tech companies together including Google, Apple, LinkedIn and Salesforce, to commit to a collective approach to change in the industry. I now consult with organizations to help make their workplaces more inclusive, their content more representative and their products more equitable.
