If I could boil down my entire career to one main thread, it is all about empowering others and supporting people’s dreams. This has remained at the core of who I am through the role of teacher, coordinator, parent, spouse and administrator. I take pride in my connections and shared joy with others, persistence, tenacity, systemic thinking and curiosity that sparks excellence in school communities. I strive to create learning spaces where all feel welcome, challenged and supported to dream big and reach further than they ever imagined. I’ve had great success in the classroom and as a leader to make a space where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to grow and thrive.Through my entire career, I have focused my work through the lens of the International Baccalaureate program and I am proud to continue on this journey with Southgate Community Schools.
