ABOUT JESSICA MORRIS

I’m an English major who fell in love with numbers.While completing my BS in English, I had this part-time job at a mall kiosk selling old-fashioned sodas which I ended up turning into a 10-year career where I held seven unique roles in corporate retail. My early days at the office found me self-learning Crystal Reports to run my own promotional reports to analyze the social and digital marketing campaigns I was managing for our new e-commerce site. An investment into SAP Business Objects in 2012 allowed me to churn through years of sales and inventory data points across 60k+ SKUs to build our entire analytics package from the ground up. I’m a fast learner and do my best work when challenged by people even smarter than I am: my BS in English may have honed my communication skills, but my business acumen was earned on the battlefield of corporate retail. I am always up for a challenge and am equally comfortable rolling up my sleeves to analyze large datasets as I am leading a cross-departmental project with high-impact deliverables. I have never achieved greatness alone and am thankful for my past mentors and teammates.
