ABOUT JESSICA CHIRIBOGA
Hello! My name is Jessica Chiriboga, and I serve as Student Body President of Dartmouth College and President Emeritus of the nonpartisan Dartmouth Political Union. I also play for the Varsity Women\'s Rugby team at Dartmouth. Last summer, I interned for Chief Justice MacDonald at the Supreme Court of New Hampshire. I am currently researching Mexican presence in the San Gabriel Mountains during the \'Great Hiking Era\'(18••••38) with support from the Stamps Foundation and the History department. Outside of academia, I have worked to make history education more accessible to youth audiences as a founding podcaster of the Spotify/Apple award-winning UnTextbooked podcast and to make outdoor spaces more accessible through my work as a Dartmouth Outing Club leader and All Outside Conference co-founder. Selected as a Cameron Impact Scholar, I am honored to receive a full-tuition merit scholarship to an American college. I am also honored to be a Point Scholar and Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar. My past work includes serving on the GLSEN National Student Council and working as an Outreach & Engagement intern at Americans United for Separation of Church and State. After graduation, I intend to pursue an MPhil in History (US History) at the University of Oxford, followed by a Ph.D. or a J.D. I am interested in speaking to historians, lawyers, and judges about their experiences. I can be reached at j••••••••@dartmouth.edu.
