Part-time employee, filling in the gaps at the school in both a special education and a social-emotionallearning/advisory role. Helping the school meet PBIS and data management goals.Selected accomplishments: Responsive Advisory Meetings: Spearheaded efforts to start running RAM meetings at the middle school, including partnering with a university to offer a self-efficacy curriculum. Writing Intensive Workshops: Tasked by the administration to try and improve middle school students’ writing skills, especially those in the special education program. Created a creative writing program where students have increased their confidence and enjoyment of writing. Students who before dreaded writing are now struggling to stop when class is over! Student Government Advisor: Saw a need for more leadership opportunities for our middle school students and created a Student Government elective class. Fundraised thousands of dollars for the school and organized field trips all over the state. PBIS Team Member: Participated in Tier 3 team training and trained as a behavior specialist. Oversaw the referral data-tracking process.
