Dignity Grows provides girls, women and all menstruators with the human dignity that comes from having their most basic personal hygiene needs met, one month at a time. Through partner social service agencies, Dignity Grows distributes totes to neighbors in need in a manner that honors an individual’s dignity. Each tote is filled with a full-month supply of comprehensive and menstrual hygiene products. Dignity Grows Totes are made possible through donated time and funds, uniting volunteers of all genders and generations.Dignity Grows now stands 57 chapters strong, with over totes distributed across the country. That’s 4 million free hygiene products! In Hartford alone, with the help of over 500 volunteers and 36 partner agencies, we have provided months of hygiene support for our neighbors in need. It’s the little things that make a big difference.
