Area 2 Director @Special Olympics

I am the Area 2 Director for Special Olympics in South Carolina that serves Darlington, Chesterfield and Marlboro counties. I help recruit players, volunteers and coaches. I coordinate with the city, Parks and Rec, schools and other nonprofits about events to be held. We raise charitable funds to help with various sporting events, facilities, sporting equipment and attire that stay local in our community. Our kids learn how to socialize with others, exercise and become a part of our community. They also compete in various sports by then attending tournaments and clinics held all over the state with the hope to attend nationals.
