Hello and welcome to my LinkedIn page!My name is Jessica Wenzel and I am currently a college student at The University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Marketing. Along with being a full-time student at UTD I also work at H-E-B, a supermarket chain, as a cashier. It is important that I create a healthy work and school balance, and as a result, I have been able to practice good time management skills. Through being a student and working as a cashier I have acquired great teamwork, communication, and customer service skills. Outside of school and work I am also a part of a greek organization, Kappa Alpha Theta. Joining this sorority has opened opportunities for me to give back to the community and bring awareness to CASA- Court Appointed Special Advocates. A passion of mine is helping children, and having CASA as our philanthropy has given me the opportunity to raise money and awareness for children that are going through the foster care system. Kappa Alpha Theta has also provided me with leadership skills, which is one of our biggest aspects as an organization of leading women. Currently as a college student, I am in the process of looking for internships that relate to Marketing that can further my experience in this field. My plan after I obtain my bachelor\'s degree is to attain a full-time position within the realm of Marketing along with completing my Masters in Business Administration.
