ABOUT JESSICA VELAZQUEZ
I\'m a certified public accountant, financial & business guru and social justice advocate. In 2016, I switched my career focus to cannabis and founded Indiva Advisors, LLP, a boutique CPA firm that supports business owners in the industry. My tax and accounting knowledge comes from my experience in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers, RSM & Ernst & Young. My finance and operational experience comes from my time at Zappos and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. As a child of immigrants who came here for a better life, I\'ve spent much of my 20+ year career advocating for women and minority business owners. I\'m actively involved in several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Tax Professionals. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my family and my dogs Alfred & Bruce. And I LOVE me some NPR!
