Jessica\'s wide-ranging media litigation experience includes working with clients in the film, television, music, sports, radio and internet industries. In addition to this broad spectrum of media clients, she has also worked with clients in the aerospace, energy, manufacturing, and hospitality and commercial development sectors. In addition to her litigation practice, Jessica consults with members of the Entertainment, Sports and Media practice on transactional matters, with a view to limiting clients’ potential litigation or exposure. Jessica’s professional experience includes defending clients against a range of complex claims, including copyright, contract, fiduciary breach, privacy and fraud claims as well as allegations of wrongful death, assault and international misconduct including claims arising under the Alien Tort Statute and Torture Victims’ Protection Act. Her specific media work includes successfully representing concert promoter AEG Live in the six-month wrongful death jury trial brought by Michael Jackson’s family, and defending that case on appeal through the family’s attempts to take the case to the California Supreme Court. The verdict was named one of the top 10 most significant defense verdicts of the year by the nation’s leading legal journalists.
