ABOUT JESSICA SMITH
My name is Jessica Smith and I am currently a graduate student-athlete at Indiana University, competing on the women’s indoor volleyball team while pursuing my MS in Management at the Kelley School of Business.Prior to this, I graduated from UCLA with both my MEd in Transformative Coaching & Leadership and my BA in Communications, where I also competed as a student-athlete on the beach volleyball team. My experiences balancing academics and Division I athletics have shaped my ability to lead with empathy, adapt quickly, and communicate effectively in high-pressure situations. I am a high achiever who thrives in team-oriented environments, and I bring discipline, focus, and resilience to everything I do. I am passionate about leadership, growth, and making an impact through collaboration, and I am excited to continue building on these foundations in both academic and professional settings.
