ABOUT JESSICA SMITH
Since 2008, Jessica has been telling the intriguing and important story of biomimicry through the use of visuals. Her respect for nature and passion for design keeps her motivated to create her best work in service of making Earth more life-friendly for all planet-mates. Her primary focus areas include branding, graphic design, exhibit design, page layout, template development, and asset database organization, although she has experience with video editing and web design as well. She is intrigued by the intersection of Biomimicry and Graphic Design and uses Life\'s Principles, developed by Biomimicry 3.8, to guide her everyday design decisions and processes. She\'s published a piece about biomimicry and graphic design in the book \"Sustainable Graphic Design\" by Wendy Jedlicka. In her free time, she\'s completed the Montana Master Naturalist program and was a member of the National Association for Interpretation from 20••••12. She enjoys nature journaling, hydroponic gardening, and interior design. Since 2012, she\'s also been creating vibrant loom-beaded earrings for sale in various storefronts throughout the country, through her creative endeavor Pigment Project. Be friendly to life, support local, and reconnect!
