ABOUT JESSICA SENIOR

My name is Jessica Senior and I currently work for Sanctuary Group as Assistant Regional Operations Manager for Property Services, and I have been with the company since 2012 when I joined as a Maintenance Operations Apprentice. I began as an apprentice learning the basics of each trade (joinery, plumbing, ect). As I progressed with training on site and at college, I worked my way from Apprentice to Skilled Worker to Multi Trade Operative in just under 6 years. In November 2018, I was promoted to Trade Supervisor of South Yorkshire where I supervised and managed 18 operatives across the area. In February 2023, I was successful in a 18 month secondment as Operations Manager for the North region managing Trade Supervisors and Operatives. Following the end of my secondment, I began a new permanent role as Assistant Regional Operations Manager in July 2024.Some of my achievements and skills include the below- Basic knowledge and ability in various trades (ability to fit a kitchen,bathroom ect)- Higher Education and Construction Management Student of the Year 2014/15- Taking part in DIY SOS in 2015- Regional and national staff council representative whilst an operative - Experience of planned, day to day and void work and operations - Local and Regional managerial experience - Vast knowledge of housing stock across North of England
