My responsibilites as an Employee Safety Specialist at Henry Ford Health System include-Chair the EOC Safety Committee to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies-Collect, organize, and present safety metrics to site leadership-Work in partnership with the hospital\'s leadership and medical staff to develop, measure, and implement employee safety programs-Facilitate system Employee Safety initiatives and ensure implementation at the site level -Train employees on safety related topics -Assess project needs based on safety metrics -Provide follow up and investigate incidents to ensure corrective actions are put in place -Participate in weekly rounds to ensure regulatory compliance
