About Jessica Rone
I am the descendant of educators and farmers. Throughout my life I have watched people and plants grow in the right environment with proper handling and reasonable patience. I bring these experiences with me into virtual and brick- and -mortar learning environments, creating safe spaces for individuals to develop and thrive. My prior roles in retail cosmetics management keep me relevant, practical, and ready to deal with the “pretty” and not so pretty sides of leading teams. I coach leaders through difficult client situations, company strategies, and teambuilding to deliver not only metrics, but consistent behaviors. Nearly 7 years ago, I relocated for a field training role with Sephora. Moving to a new city, supporting multiple doors, and representing dozens of luxury brands was a welcomed challenge. 2.5 years into my role, I moved into a higher volume market in Nashville, Tennessee. I have deployed education strategies in SC, GA, AL, KY, TN, AR, MS, and MO. Restricted travel throughout the pandemic pivoted my team and me into virtual education delivery. I continued to volunteer for opportunities that allowed me to explore the reach of digital education solutions. I co-managed the Sephora Beauty Experts Instagram page while also capturing and reporting the experiences of executive sponsors and contributors across multiple maisons in the United States and Canada as a member of an Allyship Pilot Core Workgroup within EllesVMH, an LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) Employee Resource Group dedicated to developing and advancing women in workspaces. In my current position I support Sephora\'s Supply Chain in a learning leadership role that drives safety, compliance, and our Train the Trainer program. I strategize and contribute to Hazmat General Awareness, Material Handling Equipment, New Hire, and Safety Trainings. I enjoy unearthing treasure in people and brands and being surrounded by purpose and beauty. My work has been a mix of service, leadership, sales, and training and development. My interests are highly diverse ranging from child & maternal health (a nod to my formal training and early career as a social worker and previous role combatting infant mortality at a children’s hospital) to navigating the complexities of shop-in-shop retail- something I did for nearly 8 years. I am all about people and progress. If I can add value to your organization or solve a problem for you, let’s connect and explore the possibilities of future work together. I am relocatable and acclimated to field and remote work.
