Visit each wholesaler and canvass daily at the Hunts Point Terminal Produce Cooperative for donations - making sure each donor receives consistently excellent and responsive support from all City Harvest personnel.Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential donors.Inspect all produce being offered, accepting only products that meet City Harvest donation standards.Communicate regularly with City Harvest Transportation and Supply Chain Command Center Team regarding driver arrival and departure times.Coordinate with each driver upon entry to the market providing the loading bay location number for each donation ensuring produce loaded onto trucks matches agreed donation.Provide clear and timely communication to Supply Chain New York, Supply Chain Command Center, Transportation and Network Relations teams of rescue status, including any necessary information to ensure successful logistics.Maintain the log of the produce type and pound total of produce being donated from each wholesaler ensuring donation receipt is completed accurately.Solicit donations from new vendors within the Hunts Point region to expand donations.
