ABOUT JESSICA RIEHL

Jess Riehl is a business consultant and leadership coach, committed to helping organizations and leaders reach their highest potential. For over a decade, she has helped businesses understand that the most positively impactful approach to the bottom line and future success of the company is to focus on the people. As the Chief Operating Officer for New England’s largest privately owned Disaster Restoration company, she saw first hand that the best systems and infrastructure in the world cannot change the fact that people are only human. Mistakes will be made. If your culture allows your team to dismiss a system or procedure, even the best, most effective system in the world will do you no good. Clients that work with Jess come to realize that peak performance only happens when your team has the ability to communicate and hold each other accountable if things aren’t working. Her candor forces employees to recognize that they are a part of something bigger than themselves, and the importance of developing a genuine appreciation for every role, not just their own. The truth is, the business only functions because of the collective. Jess recognizes that most people need to be reminded of that. She has a unique way of helping people understand why they need to hold each other accountable, and shows them how to do so without emotional charge and hours of discussion. Jess shifts the focus from who was “right” and who was “wrong”, to what we do with the information we have to get us the results we want - that’s when lasting change happens. Through humor and lightheartedness, she will diffuse tense interpersonal dynamics so that people release their fears around accountability, ultimately creating change without blame.
