Research industry trends, draft press releases, media alerts, crisis messaging and other material as needed- Execute strategic plan for internal communications that aligns with organizational goals, enhances workplace culture, and supports employee engagement initiatives- Manage content for internal channels including newsletters, intranet, leadership communications, and employee announcements to keep all staff informed- Track legislation and public policy issues relevant to the organization and advocate for animal well-being legislation to lawmakers in Washington D.C- Coordinate public affairs efforts by engaging with local government officials to advance the Zoo’s mission and initiatives.
